US apparel CPI drops 0.4% MoM in May after seasonal adjustment: BLS
The US consumer price index for all urban consumers (CPI-U) increased by 0.1 per cent month on month (MoM) on a seasonally-adjusted basis in May after rising by 0.2 per cent MoM in April. It increased by 2.4 per cent YoY in the month before seasonal adjustment. The index for apparel declined by 0.4 per cent MoM after seasonal adjustment and fell by 0.9 per cent YoY unadjusted.
