Taco Bell Opening First-Ever Location in Ireland

Taco Bell has announced that it is opening its first-ever location in Ireland.

According to RTE, Applegreen plans to establish Ireland’s first Taco Bell restaurant this summer, with others to follow over the next five years. The Irish fuel and forecourt merchant has struck a new partnership deal with the U.S.-based corporation.

“We are really excited to announce this partnership to launch the iconic Taco Bell brand in Ireland,” said Seamus Stapleton, managing director of Applegreen’s Republic of Ireland business, in a statement to the outlet. “This partnership underscores our commitment to bringing world-class roadside hospitality to our customers, offering them greater choice and quality while they travel. We are constantly investing in our locations, and I’m sure Irish consumers will be very excited at the arrival of Taco Bell.”

“This expansion is a testament to our commitment to growing our brand globally and delivering exceptional dining experiences to new markets,” said Matthew Johnson, new market lead for Taco Bell Europe. “We believe that our unique offering will resonate with consumers in Ireland, providing a new and exciting dining option that celebrates bold flavours and a fun, vibrant atmosphere.”

Taco Bell Has New Menu Items

The Emerald Isle will have a uniquely Mexican-American experience when Taco Bell comes to town this summer, and that experience may include new menu items like a crispy, cheesy taco.

The fast-food behemoth is testing the Crispy Cheese Triple Stacked Taco in Sacramento, offering customers a bold new twist on our favorite Crunchy Taco. This latest product features a warm flour tortilla sandwiched between two layers of melted mozzarella, pepperjack, and cheddar cheeses and an outer shell of crispy cheese. A third layer of seasoned beef Crunchy Taco and spicy ranch sauce is snuggled inside to provide a crispy, crunchy texture.

The price of this cheesy innovation varies by area and ranges from $3.99 to $4.99. Depending on the region, some menus may refer to it as the Quesocrisp Triple Stacked Taco.

According to the fast-food giant, the Dragonfruit Freeze is also available again. The Dragonfruit Freeze is a refreshing, slushy beverage with a vibrant pink dragonfruit flavor. For a limited time, one of the company’s most popular freezes, originally introduced in 2020 and re-released in March 2024, is now available nationally for $3.69 for a normal (16 ounces) and $3.89 for a large (20 ounces).
