More than 1.1 million jobs in the manufacturing sector and nearly six million jobs overall will be lost if US Congress fails to extend the tax cuts in President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, according to the National Association of Manufacturers. If Congress does not act, manufacturers will face higher taxes on pass-through businesses and family-owned firms and higher cost in many areas.
