It’s a Loro Piana summer. The Maison is redefining summer sophistication with exclusive takeovers in two of Europe’s most coveted coastal destinations: Forte dei Marmi and Saint-Tropez. These curated experiences weave the Maison’s signature craftsmanship, relaxed opulence, and Mediterranean charm into unforgettable seasonal escapes.

Nestled in the heart of Forte dei Marmi, the iconic Tuscan seaside haven, Loro Piana has transformed the beloved Il Fioraio flower kiosk into a sensorial retreat. This immersive pop-up encapsulates the Maison’s dedication to artistry and effortless luxury. The space, designed with a Mediterranean spirit, features clay-finished ivory walls, oak and chestnut wood accents, and soft-edged niches that evoke a serene, sun-drenched aesthetic. Striped deck chairs add a playful nod to the holiday vibe, while vibrant blooms, carefully selected for summer retreats and celebrations, fill the air with color and fragrance.
At the heart of this takeover lies an exclusive collaboration with French ceramist Karim Rahman and the Barlet Soeurs, Anne-Sophie and Bénédicte Barlet. Rahman’s Blooming Clay Ceramics collection channels Loro Piana’s tactile elegance, with vases and centerpieces that mirror the fluid drape of cashmere and fine wool. Crafted with a raw, sandy texture and finished in a creamy white marble-effect glaze—developed by Rahman himself—these pieces balance understated sophistication with practical beauty. His innovative kummel and malachite green hues, born from meticulous research, pay homage to Loro Piana’s rich heritage.

The Barlet Soeurs contribute a trio of cylindrical vases that capture the soul of coastal Tuscany. Hand-painted with evocative patterns in earthy tones and Carrara marble-inspired whites, these creations reflect the region’s natural splendor and the Maison’s timeless codes. Each brushstroke tells a story of Tuscan summers, blending dynamic artistry with quiet luxury.
La Réserve à la Plage: Coastal Elegance in Saint Tropez
For the third consecutive year, Loro Piana elevates the sun-soaked glamour of Saint Tropez with its takeover of La Réserve à la Plage on Pampelonne Beach. The space is a vision of refined ease, with furniture, umbrellas, sunbeds, and cushions dressed in the Maison’s signature white and kummel palette. This soft, tactile aesthetic creates an inviting haven for beachside indulgence.

The accompanying pop-up boutique showcases a curated selection from the Resort 2025 collection, inspired by the Venetian Lagoon and the pastel charm of Burano. Multicolored ropes, woven into the iconic Suitcase stripe motif, adorn the space, adding a vibrant yet sophisticated touch. The collection itself is a celebration of lightweight fabrics and relaxed silhouettes, perfectly suited to the Saint Tropez lifestyle.
Loro Piana’s summer takeovers are immersive expressions of the Maison’s savoir-vivre. From the artful ceramics and vibrant florals of Il Fioraio to the breezy elegance of La Réserve à la Plage, these experiences invite guests to savor the season through the lens of unparalleled craftsmanship and Mediterranean allure.
