I've already asked you, not too long ago, if you trust your local dealership service department. Let's say you do -- but you also trust your local independent shop. If there's not an obvious reason to choose one over the other, such as warranty work, which one are you choosing?
Is it a cost thing? Does it depend on the car? Are you philosophically opposed to one or the other? Something else?
