Poland’s ORLEN VC invests in hydrogen tech firm Hystar

ORLEN VC has invested in Norway’s Hystar, a maker of high-efficiency PEM electrolysers with ultra-thin membranes that cut hydrogen production costs. The deal supports ORLEN’s goal to use 350,000 tons of renewable hydrogen by 2035. Hystar aims to reach 1.5 GW annual output by 2027.
