Germany’s manufacturing orders jump 3.6% in March
Germany’s real manufacturing orders rose by 3.6 per cent in March 2025, driven by strong gains in key sectors like electrical equipment and transport, according to Destatis. Excluding large orders, the increase was 3.2 per cent. Turnover also grew 2.2 per cent month-on-month, though it was 0.4 per cent lower year-on-year. Foreign orders rose 4.7 per cent, with domestic demand up 2.0 per cent.
