New looks for Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing entries

Following Monday’s presentation of Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA’s new colors for the FIA World Endurance Championship, Cadillac Racing, Wayne Taylor Racing, and Action Express Racing have presented their liveries for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

The two Cadillac V-Series.Rs from Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing will have a different look than in recent years: The No. 10 Cadillac will have a familiar blue and black color scheme, while the No. 40 will change from red to silver.

U.S.-based printing services retailer DEX Imaging, and global computing and imaging giant HP, will serve as the primary sponsors of both cars as HP takes over from long-time WTR partner Konica Minolta, which had sponsored the No. 10 entry since 2014.

DEX was the primary sponsor of the No. 40 car last season and will also be the primary sponsor of the No. 45 WTR Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in GTD.

“I am so looking forward to kicking off the season with Cadillac and our corporate partner at DEX,” said team owner Wayne Taylor. “I feel so fortunate to have their support and to have pulled together this two-car program in such a short period of time.

“The No. 10 and No. 40 DEX Cadillac cars look spectacular. I can’t wait for the fans to see them up close this weekend. Daytona sets the tone for the season, and we are looking for strong results from our team.”

Emergency lighting manufacturer Whelen Engineering has announced it will extend its existing primary sponsorship agreement with Action Express Racing (competing as Cadillac Whelen in the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship). The extension will run through 2027.

Action Express presented a tweaked version of its red and black livery for the No. 31 Cadillac yesterday.

“We’re thrilled to continue our long-standing relationship with Cadillac and Action Express Racing in the IMSA GTP class,” said Sonny Whelen, Executive Vice President of Whelen Engineering. “For eight years, this partnership has been built on shared innovation, passion, and excellence.

“After an incredible championship season in 2023, we are eager to return to championship form in 2025 and showcase the teamwork and cutting-edge performance that define this exceptional venture. As always, we’re grateful to Cadillac and AXR for their continued collaboration and can’t wait to see what the next three years have in store.”

All three Cadillac V-Series.Rs will hit the track this weekend at the Roar Before the 24, test followed by the 63rd Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 25-26.
