According to TickPick, the average purchase of the game is $981, making it the most expensive game in the site’s history excluding Super Bowls. This may come as a surprise to many given the Kansas City Chiefs, aiming for history by winning three Super Bowls in a row and led by Patrick Mahomes, are facing the Texans and rookie QB CJ Stroud. That means a ticket to the Lions game is more expensive than the other three other playoff games combined, with the cheapest Texans vs Chiefs ticket priced at $102, Los Angeles Rams v Eagles at $201 and the Ravens v Bills at $123. StubHub, another ticket reseller, announced the Commanders-Lions game was outselling the second-best-selling game between the Ravens and Bills by 188%. The most expensive seat is on VividSeats, where a lower level position seat is priced at whopping $6,105. This means Saturday’s game has topped last season’s divisional round game between the Lions and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where an average seat was $948. It’s a different level of game-planning because you’re into that third level of chess, whereas the opponent you haven’t faced yet.” Washington finished with a 12-5 record this season and are riding a hot streak, with six consecutive wins including Sunday’s 23-20 win over the Buccaneers in the wild-card round.
